MOM'S MORNING OFF PROGRAM |
|
|
|
 |
Welcome!
Our
program is designed for children ages six months through
four years. Many activities are offered: Chapel,
music, outdoor play, art, and library. Christian faith,
manners, consideration, and cooperation are practiced in
each classroom. There is opportunity to learn, grow,
and enjoy in each area. Our qualified caregivers are
committed to the program’s core virtues:
Competence
~ Creativity ~ Character ~
Compassion
Join us in our mission to provide a safe, loving community
with a curriculum that nurtures the intellectual and
spiritual growth of each child. |

Enrollment Fee
The
non-refundable fee for enrollment is $30.00 per family, due
at the time of enrollment, and includes the program year
from Fall through Spring. Full non-refundable monthly
tuition is also due at enrollment for the month the child
will begin class. Enrollment is accepted before the first
class day of each month. There are no partial months,
prorations or drop-in spaces available.
|
|
Supply Fee
There is a non-refundable
$20.00 supply fee, per family, due at enrollment and again with the
January tuition. This fee helps defray the cost of art supplies, snacks,
and photo processing.
|
 |
|
Tuition
Full
non-refundable monthly tuition is due on the last class day
of the preceeding month.
An Early Bird option is
available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and increases tuition
by $5.00 per class day. A $10.00 late fee is added to any
payment made after tuition due date. Your child’s placement
in the program is reserved by making a timely tuition
payment. In the event of late tuition, the child’s
placement may not be held and a child on the program’s
waiting list may enroll for that opening. Please understand
that caregiver and director salaries are completely
dependent upon collected tuition.
Late Pickup Fee
Class time is 9:00 a.m. to 2:00
p.m. A $5.00 late pickup fee is charged for each 15 minute
increment that a child remains past 2:00 p.m.

Snack
Daily
snack is provided. Please inform the director of any food
allergies or dietary restrictions.
Lunch
Children bring their own
nutritious, ready-to-eat lunches to class. Water is provided
for all. Infants may bring bottles and baby food in jars.
Notify the caregiver if the bottle or baby food should be
heated.

|
|
Tote
A plastic
beach tote is provided for each child. Lunches, extra
clothing, and diapers may be brought to class in the tote.
Artwork and newsletters will go home in the tote.
Cubby
A cubby is
available to each child in the infant room for the storage
of extra diapers, wipes, clothing, and special snacks.
Show And Tell
Toys
brought to class can be lost, broken, or cause hurt
feelings. The first Monday class day and the first
Wednesday class day of each month are designated as “show
and tell” days. This allows each child to share a
favorite
item from home. Make sure the item is clearly labeled with
the child’s name so the item returns home with the proper
family. Contact the director for arrangements regarding
special show and tell visitors: such as pets, which are
truly welcome and always a treat.

Schedule
Each
classroom has a flexible schedule of activities planned to
make the day interesting and fun without the burden of too
much structure.
Curriculum
Classroom
lessons and activities are planned using the Wee Learn
curriculum. This is an age-specific, non-denominational,
religion-based workbook. An informative parent letter and
activity sheet, copied from the workbook, will be sent home
whenever a new unit is begun in each classroom.

|
 |
Behavior
The
director will notify the family by phone if a child is
unhappy for more than a short while. The family member and
director can then decide what should be done to make the
child more comfortable. A child who exhibits aggressive
behavior, creating an unsafe environment, will be removed
from the situation. The inappropriate behavior will be
briefly addressed and attention will be quickly diverted
from the action. Repeated aggressive behavior during the
same class day may result in the director phoning the family
and asking that the child be removed from the program for
that day.
|
| |
|
|
Illness
An ill
child or child with fever will not be accepted into class.
If a child becomes ill or develops a fever during class, the
family will be notified and the child must be removed from
class.
|
| |
|
 |
T-Shirt
A M.M.O.
program t-shirt will be provided for each child and should
be worn on all field trip days.
Celebrations
Contact
the director if you would like to make arrangements to
celebrate your child’s birthday during class time or if you
would like to prepare a seasonal or holiday party. A class
roster will be sent home for the Valentine’s Day card
exchange.
