Fabulous Fourth Friday
On the fourth Friday night of each month from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., St. Barnabas will be offering child care for young families to allow them a time to have dinner, see a movie, etc., while their children are lovingly cared for. This program is open to children aged six weeks to twelve years. You must register your children in the office by the preceding Monday at noon. The cost of the child care is $5 per child.

Vacation Bible School, August 4-8, 2008
9:00 - 12:00 am

The Parish Hall will be transformed into the Jerusalem Marketplace for Vacation Bible School. Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to participate in the synagogue school, pottery making, basket weaving, and harp making. There will also be outdoor games and activities. All children in the community are invited to attend. Please register in the church office.

Rev. William Miller, author of "The Gospel According to Sam: Animal Stories for the Soul" - speaking August 10, 2008, all services
The Rev. William Miller, rector of St. Michael and All Angels' Episcopal Church in Lihue, Hawaii, and author of The Gospel According to Sam: Animal Stories for the Soul, will speak at each of the morning services on Sunday, August 10. At 10:00 a.m. during the Sunday School hour, he will give a talk in the Parish Hall entitled, "A Conservation with Dog". Please plan to be present.

Parish Worship and Picnic, Marktplatz, September 7, 2008

10:00 a.m.
Our annual parish picnic will be at Marktplatz on September 7. We will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a Rite II Eucharist service. Afterwards, the vestry will be providing barbeque and everyone else will be asked to bring side dishes, salads, and desserts. Please join us for worship, good food, and fellowship.
